History:

Founded in 1996, Conrad Geoscience is staffed by geologists, hydrogeologists and environmental professionals working in the overlapping fields of water resources, land revitalization, and energy and climate.

In 2009, Conrad Geoscience and Sandia Technologies, LLC founded the TriCarb Consortium for Carbon Sequestration, LLC (TriCarb) to conduct research into geologic storage of carbon dioxide captured from industrial sources (DOE Funding).

As our planet’s population grows, pressure on our water resources will continue to increase requiring sound management decisions by qualified environmental scientists, planners and engineers. Conrad Geoscience has built a strong reputation in water resource management over the past 15 years in groundwater and surface water protection. Based on effective scientific practice and balanced solutions, Conrad Geoscience has successfully negotiated a variety of consent orders and facilitated numerous property transactions.

Energy and Climate

Energy production and climate change have become arguably the most challenging issues facing our society today. Conrad Geoscience has taken a leadership role to promote clean energy solutions that will mitigate climate impacts while meeting the energy demands of our modern economy. Most recent efforts include an evaluation of potential long-term storage reservoirs for carbon dioxide.

Environmental Remediation

Each contaminated site presents its own unique set of circumstances and challenges. Conrad Geoscience is committed to working alongside government, industry, lenders and the legal community to conduct robust scientific investigations and find creative, cost-effective remedial solutions. Through decades of experience, Conrad Geoscience has successfully administered Brownfields agreements, negotiated spill closures and completed a variety of site remediation projects.
